Classroom Items
Classrooms periodically need to be restocked with various items. If you'd like to find out if your child's teacher needs anything specifically, just ask them!
Common Items:
Kleenex
Clorox or Lysol Wipes
Expo Markers (both thick & thin)
No. 2 Pencils (Ticonderoga preferred)
Glue sticks (Elmer's preferred)
Scholastic gift cards

What's Happening??
Our annual Fun Run is the 2nd largest fundraiser for our school and is hosted by the Channing Hall PTO (not school admin).
In addition to our fundraiser, we also have the Fun Run itself. Students are encouraged to run around our field as many times as they can in the allotted time. We bring in a DJ with music and students cheer each other on in what ends up being a really fun event. Classes are divided into three teams and the team that runs the most laps wins a popsicle parts after school that day.

The Fundraising Part:
This year, we're raising money for a few different things for our school. Students are encouraged to raise as much as possible themselves. In past years, students have walks neighbor's dogs, picked up after animals, washed windows, mowed lawns, and some have hosted a bake sale or lemonade stand to raise funds. Fun Run T-shirts!
We expect ordered t-shirts to arrive by May 9 and the PTO will distribute them to students soon afterwards. If you want to get a t-shirt for your student and didn't order one, the PTO will sell some t-shirts outside the front door during morning drop-off the week before the Fun Run. We will have LIMITED SIZES and QUANTITIES and all t-shirts will be $25. More info coming soon.
These t-shirt sales are a fundraiser for the Channing Hall PTO and all proceeds go towards the year's fundraising goals.
Fun Run t-shirts may be worn to school by students on days they have P.E. many years to come!
8th Grade T-shirts:
We created an exclusive t-shirt just for our 8th graders. All proceeds from 8th grade t-shirts sales and all donations brought in by 8th graders will go towards their 8th Grade Legacy Project. What that project will be is still unknown. If any parents are interested in helping with an 8th Grade Legacy Project, please reach out to Heather F. at the main office.
Benefit Nights!
Want an easy way to help raise a little for your school?? Support local restaurants and businesses in the process! Just mention Channing Hall when checking out and they will donate a percentage of the day's proceeds to the Channing Hall PTO.

Get involved with the Channing Hall PTO so we can plan amazing things throughout the school year.
When adults volunteer, all students benefit! Whether it's bringing napkins or chips to a class party, lending your expertise in web design or photography, or joining a fundraising committee, there are LOTS of different ways parents can help our PTO and our school.
Doesn't matter if you work full-time, part-time, or you're a professional volunteer, your help is needed and appreciated!

Adult volunteers demonstrate to their children and others that school is important and worth the time and effort. We love volunteers and we need you! · Benefit Nights
We have exciting Benefit Nights planned for this year! The PTO sets up multiple Benefit Nights with local restaurants to help earn funds for Channing Hall events. Take a night off from cooking and join us! Dates and locations will be shared in weekly emails and in our Channing Hall Families Facebook Group. We would love to see you there!
