After spending three years fundraising for our awesome new playground, the PTO has more humble goals this year. Fundraising will begin on May 5 and go through May 18. For 2025's Fun Run, here's what we're fundraising for:

  • new laptops for STEM and tech classes
  • an all-weather ground to our GaGa Pit
  • new basketball nets for the playground
  • a new climbing rope for the gym

WAYS TO HELP:

Our PTO (who organizes the Fun Run) is in dire need of help! Please check out this SignUpGenius for different ways you can help make sure our Fun Run is a blast for our students. Even if you can't help in-person, there are lots of ways.

WAYS TO DONATE:

Get Movin' Fund Hub:
Every student will go home with a flyer sharing how to set up an account on Fund Hub. We use Fund Hub to accept and organize donations and it makes it easy for parents to share on social media and for the PTO to keep track of individual and classroom fundraising goals. CLICK HERE to register or login.

Do they charge a fee? Yep, and it's a hefty one. We get it. But right now, the PTO doesn't have enough volunteers or expertise to build our own website to these capabilities. We hope to be able to use our own site instead of Fund Hub one day.

Checks & Cash:
Every student will be sent home with an envelope they can use to collect any cash and/or checks they earn or receive. These can be dropped off at the main office at school with either Ms Heather or Ms Meredith. PLEASE make sure that any cash or checks are labeled with the student's name and classroom teacher (or grade for middle school). If these are not labeled, then the student will not receive credit for the donation for their individual or classroom fundraising goals.

PTO Store:

If you have friends or family who REALLY want to donate, but not thru Fund Hub or via a check or cash, we can accept donations through our PTO Store. Please be patient with donations made through our PTO Store when it comes to classroom totals. It will take longer to update with donations made through the PTO Store. *This is a large part of why we are still using FundHub; keeping track of the totals!

FUNDRAISING REWARDS:

Students can earn rewards for fundraising; even as little as $5. We track classrooms too and will post progress on the wall in the school lobby in May.

Kona Ice Party:

Every student who fundraises $150+ will be invited to the Kona Ice Party on Wednesday, May 21. Teachers will have a list of students and they will be pulled out of class starting at 1:30pm to join us for Kona Ice. Then they'll head back to class.

Foam Fest:

Every student who raises $350+ will be invited to join the Foam Fest on Thursday, May 22 at 2pm. We'll set up a foam party on the lawn outside the kindergarten playground where students can play. We'll have music, snacks, games, and more. Students who earn this reward are encouraged to bring a change of clothes to school on that day.

Breakfast & Bubbles:

For the top 2 classes that earn the most in fundraising, the PTO will host a celebratory breakfast on Wednesday, May 21. They'll have breakfast on the playground pavilion and celebrate with lots of different kinds of bubbles. Both teachers will also receive a gift basket and the #1 top class, the teacher will get VIP parking for all of the next school year.
